  1. Purpose
    This document defines the structured release schedule and update process for ConvoPhoto to ensure
    system stability, security, privacy compliance, and operational continuity.
  2. Scope
    Applies to application code updates, infrastructure changes, security patches, feature enhancements,
    privacy-impacting modifications, and third-party integrations.
  3. Release Categories
    Minor Releases: Monthly.
    Major Releases: Quarterly.
    Security Patches: Critical within 24–72 hours; High within 7 days; Medium/Low addressed in next
    scheduled release.
  4. Pre-Release Controls
    Code review, privacy review (if applicable), access validation, backup verification, staging testing,
    documented change log entry, and approval by designated leadership.
  5. Privacy Review
    Releases affecting personal information require review of data minimization, consent alignment, access
    controls, retention implications, and third-party impacts.
  6. Post-Release Monitoring
    System logs monitored for 24–48 hours and core functionality validated.
  7. Change Documentation
    All releases are logged with date, description, category, risk level, approval record, and rollback
    reference.
  8. Review
    This schedule is reviewed annually or upon significant operational change.
